“My experience with Sheer....it’s not just a photo session, it truly is an all out experience!!! As a twice divorced mom of three now grown daughters, at age 51 I decided to go completely out of my comfort zone and booked a session. I was terrified the day of my shoot, that staircase seemed like Mount Everest walking up into the studio.
I have always been the quiet one, the one that didn’t take risks, the overlooked or unnoticed one, easily forgettable, the odd one out in group situations, always feeling unwanted, unneeded and not worthy.....a very sad and depressing view of ones self right? And I know most women have felt this way at some point in their lives...we don’t see what others see, how could we?
Three hours with Jen and Brian and I will NEVER be that sad woman again. The work they do is magical, that is the only way to describe it. Not only are their photos breathtaking, they are uplifting, empowering and complete beauty enhancers....and I don’t mean that as just Jen’s hair and makeup skills and Brian’s skills behind the camera. After 51 years, in a matter of three hours I was transformed. I am sassy, I am confident, I am worthy and deserving, I am fierce, and I am beautiful!!! Not just through the eyes of others, I see the beauty that has always been there and will not be hidden again. And I have the photos to prove it!!!
