Do I need to know how to pose for a boudoir session?
Absolutely not. Posing is my job… that's literally what you're paying me for. I guide every single client through every single pose. You just show up and let me do the heavy lifting. Most women walk out shocked at how easy it felt.
Do I need to lose weight before booking boudoir photos?
Nope. Not even a little bit. The body you have right now is already worthy of gorgeous photos. I've photographed women at every size, every age, every stage of life since 2011, and I promise you: your body is not the problem. It never was. Book the session.
Will my boudoir photos be shared online?
Only if YOU want them to be. Your images are yours. I never share photos without explicit permission from each client, period. Some women are proud to show off their Sheer gallery and I love that for them. Others keep it completely private. Both are 100% valid and 100% respected.
What should I wear to a boudoir photography session?
Whatever makes you feel like the most confident version of you. That could be lingerie, a silk robe, an oversized sweater, your partner's button-down, or literally nothing but confidence. Once you book, you'll receive my client prep guide with outfit ideas and tips tailored to your body type and vibe. And yes, I have a whole room full of lingerie you can borrow in the studio too.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes, hair and makeup are included in the full Sheer Experience for anyone who wants it, and I do it myself. Getting glam together before we even pick up a camera is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. It eases nerves, gets you in the mood, and by the time we start shooting? You already feel like her. It sets the whole tone.
How much does a boudoir session cost?
Sessions start with a session fee around $399, and full collections start at $2799. I offer multiple packages (Signature through Elite) so there's a range depending on what you're looking for. This is a luxury experience and an investment in yourself that most women say they wish they'd done sooner. Reach out and we'll find the right fit for you.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! I never want money to be the reason you don't do something this important for yourself. Payment plans are available and we'll figure out something that works. Just ask… no judgment, no awkwardness.
How far in advance should I book?
I typically book out 4–8 weeks, and popular dates (especially around holidays or Valentine's Day) fill fast. If you have a specific date in mind (a birthday, anniversary, or just a "why not" moment) don't wait. Reach out as soon as you're thinking about it and we'll lock something in.
Do you offer bridal boudoir?
Yes, and it's one of my favorites. A bridal boudoir session is the ultimate gift… for yourself, for your partner, or both. It's the kind of thing you'll look back on long after the wedding and feel GLAD you did. Book well in advance of your wedding date to ensure we get editing time before the big day.
Do you offer couples boudoir?
Yes! Couples sessions are available and they are a whole vibe. Whether you want intimate and romantic or bold and sultry, I'll guide you both through it so it never feels awkward. You just show up, have fun, and trust the process. A lot of couples say it brought them closer… which, honestly, tracks!
What happens during the same day image reveal?
An hour after your session, we sit down together and you see your images for the first time. It's emotional. It's empowering. And it's one of my favorite moments of this whole process, watching someone see themselves the way I see them. You'll choose your favorites and decide which products or collections you want to bring home that day.
Can I do a boudoir session if I am nervous?
Being nervous is basically the default setting… and it means nothing about whether you're ready. Almost every single client walks in with butterflies and walks out saying it was one of the best things they've ever done. My studio is private, my vibe is chill, and I will literally never make you feel uncomfortable. You're in good hands, babe.
What areas do you serve in Northeast Ohio?
My studio is in Girard, Ohio, making it easy to get to from Youngstown, Warren, Niles, Boardman, Austintown, Canfield, Poland, Sharon PA, and surrounding areas. I've had clients drive from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and way beyond… because when you're ready, a little drive is nothing.
How private is the studio?
Very. My studio is a private home studio… no public foot traffic, no random people walking through, no shared waiting room. It's just you, your session, and your experience. The address is shared only after booking. Your comfort and privacy are non-negotiable here.
Can I bring my own outfits?
Yes, please! Bringing pieces that feel like YOU makes the whole session better. Once you book, I'll share tips on what photographs well and how to prepare. I also have studio pieces available to borrow, so you don't need to go shopping if you don't want to.
How long does a boudoir session take?
Plan on several hours for the full experience… that includes getting settled in, any wardrobe changes, the shoot itself, and your reveal. I don't rush. This isn't a factory operation. You get real time and real attention. Think of it as a full day of treating yourself like the main character.
